The Acoustic Ecology Institute's Special and Spotlight reports aim to offer the press, public, and academics a "ten-minute version" on key sound-related environmental and regulatory topics. They go substantially deeper than most press reports can, while remaining far more accessible than scientific publications. Each report includes an introduction, consideration of scientific and regulatory issues, and links to source material (government and scientific reports, online resources), and to advocates on all sides of the issue.
